I'm trying to install Microsoft ActiveSync to my Windows Vista computer, but it isn't working. Why is this?

Microsoft ActiveSync will only work on Windows XP computers. If you have Microsoft Vista, you will need to download and install the Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center at www.microsoft.com.

My PDA is connected to my computer and is showing as connected on Microsoft ActiveSync, but I can't synchronize my PDA to the AiRNAB server. Why is this?

The first thing to check is to make sure you have an internet connection on your computer. If you do, it may be a setting in ActiveSync that is causing this problem. On the ActiveSync software on your computer, go to File - Connection Settings - In the drop down for "My Computer is Connected To:" make sure this is set to "The Internet". Sometimes if it is set to Automatic, it will not work.

How do I add new users to AiRNAB?

Adding new users to AiRNAB is a 2 step process on the AiRNAB Web Tool. You first need to add the user as a contact in the system. You will go to the Contact Manager section and add the new contact in with Open Contact Manager. You will need Administrator access to the system to see the Contact Manager section. Once the contact is added, you will then go to Open Login Manager and click on that user's name to add that user in and assign them a user name, password and what level of access they have.

What are the different levels of access on the AiRNAB Web Tool?

There are 4 levels of access in AiRNAB: Administrator, SuperUser, User and Guest. Administrators have full access to everything in the AiRNAB system including adding new users, getting into the Report Setup area, accessing the Project Recycle Bin. SuperUsers do not have access to adding new users, getting into the Report Setup area, or accessing the Project Recycle Bin. SuperUsers will have access to all projects on the website, whether they are assigned to that project or not. Users have the same level of access as SuperUsers, except they will only see the projects they are assigned to on the website. Guest users have very limited access. Guest users will only see projects they are assigned to and they will have read-only access in those projects. They can view the data and print reports, but they cannot add or change any data.

How come on the AiRNAB Web Tool, I cannot change tabs from Unit to Data to Notes, etc.? It just spins and says processing.

This is usually caused by a toolbar installed such as Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, MSN Toolbar, etc. You will need to uninstall the Toolbar in order for this page to work properly. If you go into Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs, you can uninstall these Toolbars in there.

How come on the AiRNAB Web Tool, I am entering data and hitting save, but when the screen refreshes, it goes back to the data that was there when I first opened the page?

This is caused by a setting in Internet Explorer that is set incorrectly. Open Tools - Internet Options - and click on the Settings button in the Browsing History Area. Make sure this is set to Automatically. If it is set to Never, then every time you go to a page or refresh it, it will pull up the page the way it was the first time you opened that page, which causes a problem.
