These are common Field Tool Error Messages and what they mean.
Error 28037 - A Request To Send Data To The Computer Running IIS Failed.
This error means that the Field tool is having a problem with its connection to the internet. It may have just been an intermediate connection issue.
To trouble shoot the problem open Internet Explorer and navigate to a website and hit the refresh link. If the page you have targeted opens sucessfully, you have confirmed that an internet connection is available.
Try to synchronize again. If this continues to happen and you are sure that you have an internet connection, close the AiRNAB application and re-open it (sometimes after a failed connection the framework which the application is built is unaware that the original connection was terminated and so can not re-establish communication with out an application restart).
Error 28600 - The database is currently synchronizing with the server.
If you ever receive this error, the database was somehow left open by another process. To fix this problem, you need to exit out of the AiRNAB Field Tool software and restart the PDA. To do this, you need to take your stylus and poke the button on the bottom or side of the PDA on the HP iPAQ's. The button is on the back of the Dell Axim's. This will restart the PDA and close the database that was left open. You should then be able to open up the AiRNAB Field Tool software and synchronize your data.
Error 28549 - The row operation cannot be reapplied because of an integrity violation. Check the Publication filter.
This error is caused when the PDA has not been synchronized with the server for a long time. The PDA needs to be synchronized at least once every 2 weeks to keep its connection with the web server. You will need to re-run the setup on the PDA and re-assign it to the user to get past this error. If you have data that you have entered on the PDA that needs to be synchronized to the web server, please contact AiRNAB support to help you import this data.
Error 28035 - HTTP header information is either corrupted or missing
This error is cause by Firewalls and Anti-Virus software stripping information out of the data that is attempting to synchronize. If you have the Field Tool cradled, temporarily disable Anti-Virus software. Usually you can disable this by finding the icon in the system tray down by the clock and clicking on it to disable it.
If you are in a public WI-FI access point, it may be possible that the WI-FI hardware has a firewall that is causing this problem. In this case you will need to find a new WI-FI connection or sync at a later time.
